Activities

  • Use of a variety of hardware and software to create interesting and informative reports including digital cameras, videos, scanners and  music.
  • E-mail homework to student school e-mail accounts and work e-mailed home.
  • Use of a variety of search tools to retrieve information for reports.
  • Create original artwork using paint programs  - including for example merging of original images into new works.
  • Preparing documents for use on sports days etc.   (eg. lists of students in teams, tables for results, draw sheets, invitations, posters and reports for newsletters).
  • Help in maintenance of school hardware.
  • End of year PowerPoint/ VCD presentations ofor year 7 advancement, to be burnt on CD for students to purchase in place of a year book. 
  • Develop personal profiles/portfolios for year eight interviews.
  • Use Word and FrontPage features effectively including at least, auto shapes, text boxes, drawing tools and tables to present information. eg Job applications, character webs and magazine covers.
  • Students use PowerPoint features effectively including, timings, buttons, animations and sound.
  • Use of FrontPage to create personal webs that include pages which have animations and interactive features.
